Amelie

Amelie is a "half-caste" servant at Rochester and Antoinette's "honeymoon-house" in Dominica. Amelie mocks Antoinette, calling her a "white cockroach." Rochester, who thinks Amelie resembles Antoinette, has sex with Amelie within earshot of Antoinette.
