Ed and Min go to the bonfire after the game. While Ed is away getting them beers, two of Ed's ex-girlfriends approach Min—Annette and Jillian. Jillian is the most recent ex. She is also drunk, so she's not being nice to Min. Annette apologizes for Jillian's behavior and gets Jillian to walk away. as Min continues her conversation with Annette, Min realizes that Annette is the girlfriend from junior prom—although Min doesn't reveal the story in the letter. Annette says that she's the only ex that Ed still talks to and that he's right, Min is different. When Ed comes back, Jillian is clinging to his arm and starts being rude to Min again. Annette takes Jillian away and Ed apologizes for Jillian.
