Point of View

The point of view of this novel is third person omniscient. The author uses many different characters as her point of view character, shifting often between the many main characters, occasionally several times within a single chapter. Since the point of view is omniscient, the reader is given insight not only into the actions of these chosen point of view characters, but their emotions as well. The author also tells back-stories on these characters that frequently do not have a clear narrating character that the reader is familiar with.
