Summary

In Chapter 8, Grace lied to her husband about having to stay late at work because she did not want to go home and take care of their baby. Instead, she booked a hotel room. She felt exhausted from motherhood and wanted to take the night for herself. As she was leaving the next morning, she ran into Katherine in the Prescott hotel elevator. Katherine explained that her friend helped her get a room while she waited for her condo to be ready for her to move in. She expressed that she was surprised about how nice everybody who worked at Truviv was to her. At the end of the chapter, there was a subpoena document about Katherine’s harsh terms of termination from her old job.
