Chapter 36 Summary

The small hospital chapel is not big enough to contain this wedding. Seven children are in the front pew. The hospital chaplain is at the end of the aisle with the groom, Leon Yoder. The door opens to reveal Lexie, who is carrying a corsage of seven white roses, which represent her five children, and Leon's two. They are at the front of the chapel.
