Dimple and Celia’s Dorm Room at SFSU

Dimple and Celia’s dorm room is the place where Celia and Dimple’s friendship develops over the summer. At first they live together as normal roommates, Celia yelling at Dimple when she sleeps through her phone ringing. Once Dimple comes back to the room from their first day, Celia invites Dimple out with her and the Aberzombies in Chapter 13 but Dimple tells her they seem arrogant. Later after returning from that dinner to the room, Celia confronts Dimple about dinner and they agree that “maybe it’s okay if we’re not friends with each other’s friends” (134). When Dimple goes to Little Comic Con with Rishi, Celia helps her with her costume and outfit. Later when Dimple goes on her non-date with Rishi, Celia gives her a dress to wear and encourages her before she goes out. Much later...
