Summary

Chapter 15 starts with Rishi’s perspective as he returns to the table and sees the Aberzombies. One of the girls, Isabelle, says, “you guys have such interesting names” (100). They talk about Insomnia Con and Hari makes a sexist comment about women in coding and yawns when Dimple tries to defend women in the profession. Rishi responds, “All of Papa’s money can’t buy good manners” (102). Hari is angry but soon Celia arrives. The perspective changes to Dimple as she feels embarrassed. The waiter arrives and takes their order, Dimple ordering the cheapest item. They talk about their families and Rishi asks Hari about his family and Hari refuses to admit his Indian heritage. Rishi cuts him off and starts talking about his trips to India and how proud he is of his heritage.
