Summary

In Chapter 13, Caleb mentions that he gave Sierra a good deal of ammunition, but Sierra tells him that she would never use any of it against him. She senses that enough people have already done that to him. He shares with her that he finally stopped trying to tell people the truth about what had happened because he figured the only people to whom he owed the truth was his mother and Abby.

The principal at Heather’s school allows Sierra to attend classes one day each winter semester. It is during her day at school that Sierra tells Heather that Caleb finally told her the full story. She asks Heather to continue giving him a chance.
