Summary

Chapter 15 opens on Sunday, July 15, with Arthur planning a do-over date, which he has never heard of before. His dad suggests something “tried-and-true, like a diner. Something basic” (175). The next day, Monday, Arthur waits at what was a “Best Date Restaurant” on Yelp. It is 15 minutes past when they were supposed to meet, and Ben is late again. When he does arrive, Arthur realizes that he doesn’t know what to talk about. Then Ben sees the menu and says that he can’t eat there because the food is way too expensive. Suddenly, Arthur is excited, because he thinks that he sees Ansel Elgort across the room.
