Summary

Chapter 15 is titled “Thursday Night Hoops”. In this chapter, the author focuses on his regular pickup game of recreational basketball, played with a group of mostly white men with a wide range of experience and skills. He describes times during his years-long attendance at these games when he felt it necessary to present himself as having played at the professional level, at least for a while.
