Marianne has worked in an animal shelter for more than four years. Marianne found herself at this shelter just months after walking away from her job with the poet. Marianne had been happy with the poet, organizing her office and doing other odd jobs, buying groceries and such. However, when the woman offered a position with her charity organization after Marianne began critiquing her poetry for her, Marianne felt compelled to move on.
