Chapter Fourteen, “Orion Oh” - In first-person, present-tense narration, Orion describes the morning after Ariane’s arrival – her sleeping in, their slowly easing into comfortable conversation with each other after being apart for two years, his thoughtful watchfulness about what he says to her in terms of weight, the family situation, and the baby.
