Summary

Chapter 31

Eileen has Connell bury a St. Joseph statue in the yard which is supposed to help a person sell his house.

Chapter 32

Eileen lists the house with a family friend. She goes upstairs to tell the Orlandos that the house is for sale

She and Ed have decided to sell the multi-unit. Donny congratulates and says they might be able to buy it. After the first open house, an Indian couple make a full-price offer of $365,000. Eileen contacts Gloria and tells her to make an offer on the Bronxville house.

Chapter 33

Connell wakes to his father screaming at him. He’d left the jelly out over night! As what has become a pattern, a short time later he apologizes to Connell. He doesn’t know what came over him. Ed is going through an energy crusade over the summer – turning off lights...
