Summary

Emma and Marcus give up their search for Beatriz on Ilha Grande, and they eat dinner together at a local restaurant before boarding the ferry back to the mainland. Emma feels nauseous on the ride back, and Marcus finds her a place to lie down. He fetches her water, and Emma cannot resist the temptation to kiss him.
