Chapter 26 Summary

The weekend is unbelievably long. Phoebe brings a suitcase and complains about having to share a bed with Sal. She tells Sal that her bed is lumpy, compared to her firm mattress, and that's why she slouches. She lectures Sal that she's supposed to give the best to the guests and make some sacrifices. Her mother has always said that one has to make some sacrifices in life.
