Dr. Eitan Green

Eitan is a neurosurgeon, husband of Liat and father of Itamar and Yaheli. His superiors transfer Eitan to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, Israel after he exposes his mentor, Dr. Zakai, for accepting bribes from patients. Eitan hates the new, red Mercedes SUV that Liat buys him as compensation for the transfer. When Eitan hits Asum while driving the SUV after a night shift at Soroka, he assesses his victim and decides to abandon Asum knowing the man will die regardless of whether he confesses to the accident.

After Eitan discovers that Asum’s wife, Sirkit, identified him as her husband’s murderer, she extorts Eitan into providing medical treatment to illegal immigrants in an abandoned garage near Tlalim.
