Fieldridge

Fieldridge is the town in Michigan where the novel takes place. It is in northern Michigan and within driving distance across the Canadian border. Fieldridge is where all of the characters live and where they attend the local high school.

Carrie's Room

Carrie's room is where Janie, Melinda and Carrie have sleepovers and hang out. It is in Carrie's room that Janie sees into Carrie and Melinda's dreams for the first time. It is where Janie first learns about who Cameron might be and that Melinda is a lesbian that has a crush on Carrie.

Nursing Home

The local nursing home is where Janie works. It is also where Janie meets Miss Stubin. It seems as if fate might have brought Janie and Miss Stubin to the nursing home, so that Miss Stubin could teach Janie how to control her "dream catcher" abilities.
