What Becomes the Longest Day and Busting Out All Over Summary

When Janie goes into Cabel's house, she remembers the kitchen, chairs and ceiling fan from his dreams. He takes her into the living room to show her the dream books he has been studying so he could learn to write his thoughts in his dream to communicate with Janie. He says he wants to talk to her about everything but she accuses him of lying to her from the beginning. She starts to cry and goes to the bathroom. When she comes out, he is ending a conversation on his cell phone. He says he can't tell her everything right now but that he'll answer any questions she has that he can answer. She asks who was on the phone and Cabel says it was Shay.
