Summary

In “Final Sword,” Kern tries to find Akemi in Taiwan, based on an image he saw of her with a Final Sword fighter, Tadao. When he arrives at the secured building, pays for a VIP area ticket with Akemi's money. He notices Akemi sitting in the front row not too far from him. He watches a fight between Tadao and Sanzo Vola, knowing that one of them will die. Vola stabs Tadao with a sword and he dies. In Usually in Trouble, Akemi shrugs off Tadao's death and tells Kern that she is in need now of company. Kern tells her that he crossed oceans to find her, but she does not remember Kern.
