Epilogue, Chapter 1 Summary

Lestat recounts the tale of his years with Louis and with Claudia. Although they did not know it then, they spent more years together than most vampires do with their own kind. When Claudia makes the attempt on Lestat's life, he travels to Paris to seek Armand. He asks him for his healing blood. Before he consents, Armand makes Lestat hold Claudia accountable for what she has done to him. Despite the time that has passed, there is still the old animosity between Lestat and Armand.
