Princess Amelia

Princess Amelia, also known as Mia Thermopolis, lives and goes to school in America but spends summer in her family's kingdom in Genovia. She is sixteen-years-old and her boyfriend, Michael Moscovitz, is a senior at Albert Einstein High School, the same school that she attends. In this story, Mia is struggling with several things. She has to deal with her difficult grandmother, whom she calls Grandmere, who requires Mia to come to her suite at the Plaza each evening after school for princess lessons. And Mia is very conflicted about how to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Mia is upset when Dr. Steve, an astrologer recruited by Grandmere, tells Mia that she will wind up with a husband who is a Leo. She is upset because Michael is a Capricorn. Mia suspects that Grandmere paid the astrologer off to tell her that because she doesn't want Mia to wind...
