Hollywood Outskirts

The Hollywood Outskirts is where Shay first lives when she arrives in Hollywood. She stays there because she has no money and she also wants to stay as hidden as possible. This is also symbolic in some respects as she also feels as if she is on the outside of society.

Twist's Hotel

Twist has established a hotel for street kids. There are two dozen teens that live there, all under Twist's protection. This hotel is a staging point for most of the action that takes place.

Skyscraper

Shay works for Twist and helps to place a banner on top of one of the highest towers in the city. This also establishes her nickname, Girl on a Wire.
