Summary

Chapter 12 – As Caleb brings Caitlin through the Cloisters, more questions begin racing through her mind about who the people in the building are. She is especially confused as to how these vampires can live in a place full of crosses. Caleb explains that the forces of good vampires are not affected by crosses. In fact, they guard not only the church, but the bishop’s staff –the crozier –inside. Caleb brings Caitlin into a room full of vampires dressed all in black.
