Summary

Karen reflects on the relationship she had with Martin while at CAPA. At the time, she found him handsome, interesting, and kind. However, she now knows that he is ugly, uninteresting, and dishonest. Contrary to Sarah’s book’s portrayal, Sarah and Karen were close friends, although Karen suspects that Sarah was only interested in Karen because Karen had a car and gave Sarah rides to places.
