Torr is a fictional town in Scotland. It is small, and the neighbors are friendly. Millie and Joss own a vacation home in Torr. After Joss dies and the public learns that he was transgender, reporters begin to hound Millie in London. She goes to their vacation home in Torr for solitude. There, she thinks about her life with Joss and wonders how she will go on without him.

London, England

London is the capital and most populous city of England. Colman lives in London, as does Sophie. Millie and Joss lived in London when Joss was alive, although they often traveled abroad for Joss’ performances in other countries. Millie leaves London and returns to Scotland after Joss dies.
