Summary

In “Chapter 37” Suzanne and Iris drove to another location that may contain the cabin. Passing a property with a windmill, Iris said she felt she had been here before. They hiked through the woods and Iris realized that they were close to her old home. They came across a boulder and wooden sign next to it inscribed with Ash’s name along with the dates April 1, 2002–July 27, 2011. Iris recalled this was the same date her father had left and remembered seeing him walk out the door, carrying Ash. Iris ran away from Suzanne, into the woods.
