Aly/Alianna of Pirate's Swoop

Alianna "Aly" of Pirate's Swoop is the beautiful and fiercely intelligent daughter of George Cooper and Alanna. Ali is precocious and courageous, as well as clever and resourceful. She longs to be a spy in her father's service, but her father and mother have other plans for her: marriage, and a comfortable and secure life. Ali refuses to accede to their desires, and is captured while out on a boat to visit another lord.

The pirates whom capture Aly sell her into slavery, where she is purchased by the Balitang family. When the Balitang family is exiled based on suspicion of disloyalty, Aly goes along as well, making a deal with the trickster god Kyprioth that in exchange for protecting the Balitang children, Aly will be given her freedom at the end of the summer.
