Cody Summary

Cody is in a coma in the hospital, and knows he is still alive. He can hear his mother's voice, and feel her hands on his head and hair. She tells him that everything will be alright.

Cody Analysis

Cody lapses into a coma, so severe and savage are his injuries. His final chapter in the book is his existence in a subconscious state, hearing his mother's voice assuring him that everything will be alright.
