Cody Summary

Cody's mother begins looking for work, and Cody begins losing money making bad bets. Bills continue to mount, Cody is broke, and his mother's bank account is getting smaller and smaller.

Cody begins pawning some of his things to make money, including taking out a loan against a gold necklace Jack gave him. Cody continues gambling online.

A call from the police comes in. Cory is arrested for robbery and assault.

Cody's own bills begin mounting, as do the family's. In order to keep gambling, Cody begins pawning his belongings in order to have cash on hand. At the same time, Cory's life further falls apart when he is arrested for robbery and assault. At any time, either brother could choose a clean path, but both of them deliberately refuse to do so.
