Seth Summary

Seth continues seeing Carl and drinking heavily. Seth's father finds a letter from Loren, and thinking it is about college, opens it and discovers the truth. Seth confesses he is gay. His father is horrified, tells his son his behavior is sinful, and orders him to leave the house.

Seth goes to Carl and explains what has happened, and Carl says he can stay for a while, but not for long: Carl's company has a contract in Vegas. Seth wants to go, too.

Seth Analysis

Seth's father discovers he is gay and kicks him out. Seth falls into drinking and continuing his relationship with Carl. Seth realizes he can use sex to his advantage to get Carl to bring him to Vegas. Everything that Seth once thought he was better than, he has become.
