Eden Summary

It is spring break for Eden. Her parents have noticed Andrew attending revivals. Eden's mother cautions her against deceptive good looks. Eden meets Andrew's older sister Mariah, and their mother, who thanks Eden for making Andrew so happy.

She wonders how Andrew's family can be so accepting of her, but her family cannot be accepting of Andrew. She tells her parents she is going out to the library to study, but in reality, goes to Andrew's family's ranch. There they have sex for the first time.

Eden begins lying to her parents in order to continue seeing Andrew. Eden is very happy that Andrew's family is so warm toward her, and she wishes that her own family would respond in the same fashion.
