Summary

In Chapter 1, the narrator receives an email from an astrologer saying that a transit is going to occur in her sky that will create change. The email goes on to talk about how the astrologer can see that the narrator has lost her way and is looking to find both meaning in her current situation and hope for the future. The email also talks about people having lost connections in their lives and says that humans have become cruel to themselves and the people around them because they do not feel of value themselves. At the end of the email is a link that will give the narrator a more detailed reading after making a payment. The narrator suspects that the email is computer generated, but still pays and clicks the link.
