Summary

In “Chapter 31” Maggie enters the ring and faces her opponent, Neizghání. He tells her that he will have mercy on her and let her go but angry at his dismissal, she fights. He toys with her until she breaks his nose. He holds her down and kisses her while digging with his lightning blade under her ribs. In “Chapter 32” Maggie feels she is on fire and then feels water washing over her. She hears Kai’s voice urging her to fight and telling her he can save her.

In “Chapter 33”, Maggie wakes up in Grace’s house. She finds out from Clive that lightening had struck the arena and everyone had fled while Kai had healed her. Maggie is unsure why Neizghání acted the way he had and did not kill her. Grace had called the thirsty boys to come and...
