Summary

The setting of Chapter 19: History is in Mr. Schmidt's history class. They are studying attacks on American soil, dating back to the Revolutionary War. Deja was surprised to learn that the World Trade Center was first bombed in 1993. The truck bomb used failed. When it comes to September 11, 2001, Mr. Schmidt says the country has been involved in a war on terror. Angel asks why the terrorists hate Americans. He does not answer and it makes Deja mad.
