Summary

Deja notices the cafeteria is busy with kids opening their cool lunchboxes or eating a nice spaghetti lunch. She has no money to pay for lunch and she did not take a lunch either. While her stomach makes a hungry rumble, Deja looks around the hallway. She expects her class' summer vacation essays will be hung on the walls. She plans to leave her page blank because she had no summer vacation. She also sees a world map bulletin board.
