Chapter 25 Summary

Wiley has found out that Bernal tried to kill Bloodworth, and is furious that he did so without orders from him. The remaining three agree to continue with the plan, and discuss the helicopter they have hired. Later he calls Mulcahy, and tells him that the next event will happen before the parade, and to watch the skies. Then he hangs up.

A man named Mack Dane who is a newspaper reporter from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is on his first travel assignment. He will be on the Friendship Cruise which is an extravagant event held two days before the Orange Bowl parade on a new cruise liner called the SS Nordic Princess. It carries a crew of three hundred, and is full of tourists and travel writers from all over who are supposed to write.....
