Cole Matthews

Cole is a teenager who has spent his life dealing with an abusive home life. He robs a store and then brags about it, but is surprised when someone dares to tell on him. Cole doesn't have any friends and seeks to control everyone around him through violence. He brutally beats Peter Driscal, the teen who turns Cole in, and continues the beating until other students pull Cole off. Peter is badly injured and Cole later learns that he will always have trouble with speech and co-ordination because of the beating.
