Deznee Cross

Deznee Cross is a teenage girl who spends much of her life trying to rebel against her father. As a young child, Deznee believed that her mother had died. Deznee loves her father, but as he works often and spends more and more time away, Deznee rebels. She begins seeking out new ways to feed her endless need for thrills, and seeks out alcohol, drugs, and boys. Deznee is not a bad person, but she does have a desire to control her own life, and her own destiny. It is only when Kale comes from nowhere, and she begins to understand her own gifts, as well as her father's lies, that she is able to break free from her own rebellion.
