When he came home, Ilan began educating Adam and taught him to speak. While Avram was in an induced coma, Ora would read him letters that he had written to her in hopes that his own words would penetrate and rouse him. Avram began writing to Ora the day after their last night together in isolation, and he always interjected something about Ilan because he was convinced Ora loved Ilan.
