Summary

In Chapter I, Dreams, exobiologist, and main character Kira Navárez, struggled to dislodge a piece of her equipment while surveying Adrasteia (Adra), an Earth-sized moon. While Kira is not normally a short-tempered person, today her emotions got the best of her. In only a few days, she and the crew would be heading to 61 Cygni where she and Alan, a man Kira grew close to while working together, would be separated. Kira did not want to leave Alan, Kira was missing her family back home and he was one of the few people who cared for her. Despite their best efforts to get another posting together, they were denied.
