"Castelgard" Summary

37:00:00: Marek and Kate cross the muddy forest path for a closer look at Castelgard. Chris stays close to his machine; the forest around him looks dark and primeval. Gomez reassures Chris when his machine disappears. She explains that it simply drifted. The machines tend to slip out of the present, but the nav marker allows them to call the machine back when needed. She demonstrates by pushing the tiny button on the white square; the machine promptly reappears. Chris is not reassured. Only when he sees the mill bridge on the Dordogne does he begin to relax, comparing the actual bridge to his model. Kate and Marek continue to stare at the fourteenth-century scene from their vantage point atop a hill. Behind them, an argument breaks out between Gomez and Baretto. Baretto has.....
