Dan Baker cringes as his brand new Mercedes jostles along the rough dirt road of a Navajo reservation in northern Arizona. The desert road shows no sign of human life. Dan's wife, Liz, sits calmly in the passenger seat, oblivious to Dan's concerns about his half-empty fuel tank. Liz checks the map and tells him the turnoff is four miles beyond Corazun Canyon. Dan wants to turn back, but Liz is intent on acquiring another authentic Navajo weaving for her collection. Dan's eyes are on the fuel gauge when Liz screams; the car thumps loudly. Dan looks up to see a man in his rearview mirror. Liz thinks they hit the man, but Dan tells her they merely hit a pothole. Shocked at his apathy, Liz insists they turn around.
As he drives back, Dan.....
