Chapter 35 Summary

Jane makes an appointment to see Miriam after her conversation with Jane. Davey is pleased when Miriam greets her like they have been friends. Miriam saw the feature about Davey in The Monitor and explains why she didn't attend the performance. The session begins with Miriam starting where they left off about Davey's feelings toward her family. Davey stops her direction and blurts out that she lied to Jane about the circumstances of her father's death. Miriam sits up at attention and asks Davey what made her make up the story.
