Chapters 6-7 Summary

Thursday arrives home to tell Landen that she is pregnant. She tells Landen about her day. They attend her uncle's retirement party that night. Thursday learns that a Thursday Next line of fashions is evolving from her appearance on the Adrian Lush Show. They talk to Thursday's brother, Joff, and mother, Wednesday. Her uncle Mycroft was testing a new invention, a car driver ejection system. He shows Thursday some of the inventions and gadgets that he has.

Thursday tells her uncle about the coincidences of seven Irma Cohens on the Skyrail with one of them working on a crossword puzzle with the words meddlesome, Thursday and goodbye right before someone tried to kill her. Uncle Mycroft explains that coincidences occur when there is a decline in entropy.
