Summary

In the beginning of Part Two, the Thunderhead stated that it was responsible for maintaining the Earth’s ecosystem. In Chapter 8, Greyson Tolliver wanted to work as a Nimbus agent for the Authority Interface, or AI, for most of his life, since the Thunderhead had essentially raised him. He enrolled at the MidMerican Nimbus Academy. A few months in, Greyson’s schedule appeared blank and he received a message to report to the AI headquarters. Greyson met with Agent Traxler, a seemingly dull Nimbus agent. Traxler reminded Greyson, as per the Thunderhead’s wishes, that Nimbus Academy students must refrain from interfering in the scythedom, then implied that Scythes Curie and Anastasia were in danger. At the end of the chapter, the Thunderhead stated that it chose Nimbus agents as its representatives, so it would not have to take on a physical form...
