Stephanie Plum

Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter working out of her cousin Vinnie's bail bonds office. Stephanie has been trained by the best in the business, Ranger, but she does not always get her man without a series of mishaps taking place first. Stephanie is assigned the file on Uncle Mo, a local candy/ice cream store owner who is a failure to appear on a concealed weapons charge. Uncle Mo is very popular in the neighborhood where Stephanie grew up, known as the burg, and therefore it is a case that has the potential of earning Stephanie the ire of her friends and neighbors. Stephanie refuses the case at first, but when Vinnie assures her it is most likely a case of memory lapse, Stephanie agrees.
