Chapter Nine The Last Waltz

After the tour with Dylan, Richard and Levon lease a place in Malibu they call Shangri-La for most of 1975. Things are not working out with Libby so Levon moves her and the kids into a house in Brentwood. Things are getting even worse between Levon and the Band's management. They are making business deals that Levon does not agree with and there is a lot of fighting. So Levon ends up going back to Woodstock where he gets together with an old friend Henry Glover. The two of them start the production company RCO, which stands for "our company." They bring Muddy Waters to Woodstock to record an album.

In 1976 the Band begins touring again, doing mostly songs from their Northern Lights album. The Band starts to "unravel "about two thirds of the way...
