Summary

Titled: "The Cheater’s Guide to Love"

This story is written in the second person and covers Yunior’s five year period after breaking up with his fiance. She leaves him when she finds out that he's on her with over 50 women in the last six years. The first year that they are apart, he’s devastated and constantly tries to get back with her. His friend, a war veteran named Elvis, tries to help him get through it and encourages him to go out and meet someone new. The next year is spent in a similar way, although he does start to date different women, but nothing serious.

In the third year he's working as a professor at a college and starts to sleep with one of the students. He simply refers to her as "the law...
