Summary

Title: "The Sun, The Moon, The Stars"

In the first srory, the book begins with the main character, a proud Dominican named Yunior, discussing how he cheated on his girlfriend, Magda, with a work colleague, Cassandra. Yunior shares that he and Magda had a good relationship before Cassandra. It only turned sour when Cassandra wrote a letter to Magda explaining what happened. Yunior shares that he spent weeks trying to win Magda back. The reader sees that all of Magda's friends keep telling her that she should just leave him. Yunior arranges for a vacation to Santo Domingo. He believes that a vacation is exactly what they need to get their relationship back on track.

Yunior wants to stop to see his family, but she insists that they go right to the resort. She seems miserable until they...
