Part 4: Chapters 17-20 Summary

Soo-Ja returns to the hotel to learn that Min has taken Hana to his parents in America and left her the money required to follow. Min claims he has also taken the money. Soo-Ja asks Yul to take her to the airport. Yul tells her that he can no longer continue to be refused by her and if she leaves, she should not expect him to wait for her.

Soo-Ja arrives in Los Angeles on mother-in-law's birthday. There is a party taking place at the house when she arrives. Hana is happy to see her, but also clearly content with life in L.A.
